Dissertation - A 6000 word investigation into traditional hand craft embroidery techniques used by local artisans and different cultures and how these can be implemented into the luxury fashion market. Additionally, how it can enhance both the story behind the garments as well as enhance consumer engagement within the luxury market.
Creative Output - Additionally I will create a design collaboration collection between Sashiko Gals and Dior. Consisting of 6-12 pieces (more colour options), marketing this through several platforms and medias. As well as hosting a catwalk to showcase the collection on CLO3D. Followed by creating mockups on photoshop of in-store pop ups in Dior’s major city stores and Sashiko Gals Tokyo store to showcase and sell the garments.
